The Umuahia-based side have been slammed with a stadium ban for the behaviour of their fans, and the gaffer says the fans' absence will be a big miss
Abia Warriors coach  Abdullahi Biffo has remained focused despite the sanctions handed out to the club by the League Management Company (LMC).
Warriors have been handed a total fine of N2.5m for the unruly conduct of their fans in an NPFL Match Day 34 fixture against FC Ifeanyi Ubah, with the club now set to play two home matches
 behind closed doors.
"We shall miss our fans at home, they are special to us, their cheers regardless of the result is amazing and that's big miss for the team," Biffo told Goal.
"But we shall make sure that we give them a special gift of wins in both matches.
"The team is geared up for any situation, our target is to win our home games and give our all to win or pick a point on the road.
"Playing in front of the fans is special but now that we have been told to play behind closed door, we shall make our fans happy with wins in both matches."
Abia Warriors got a N1m fine for encroachment of their fans into the field of play and further fine of N750,000 is to be paid for the club’s failure to provide adequate security for the match officials immediately after the match.
Each match official will get N250,000 as compensation from Abia Warriors for the assault inflicted on them by the supporters.
